Polish Pottery

We are pleased with our new selection of Polish Pottery that has just arrived in our store. All our pottery is approved by the FDA for food use and contains no lead or cadmium. It is safe for use in the dish washer, oven, and microwave.

Our products are hand-formed and decorated by use of the stamping technique. Polish pottery is created from a white clay and fired in coal and gas ovens at temperatures in excess of 1350 degrees Celsius or 2,246 degrees Fahrenheit with a lead free glaze, this stoneware is safe for use in the dishwasher, microwave and oven. It is also non-toxic and impervious to abrasives. As an extremely durable pottery, it will not crack or chip easily.

For best results, bring baking dishes to room temperature before heating. While the pottery is oven safe - any extreme temperature changes can cause problems. The artisans coat all the colored patterns with a transparent, protective glaze in order to prevent wear and food from sticking.
