Zupa Cytrynowa
| 2 Egg yolks | |||
| 1 Tablespoon Flour | |||
| 2/3 Cup Sour Cream | |||
| 6 Cups Chicken Stock | |||
| Zest of one Lemon | |||
| Juice of one Lemon | |||
1. Beat the raw egg yolks into the flour and the sour cream until smooth.
2. Slowly add the hot stock to the egg mixture. Add the stock slowly so the eggs and cream don't curdle.
3. Add the Zest of the lemon.
4. Add the lemon juice a little at a time so that the soup will not turn out to tart.
5. Heat the soup over low heat as this soup tends to be fragile.
6. Serve with croutons or over rice.
Beef Rolls with Dill Pickles
(Zrezy Zawijane z Kiszonym Ogorkiem)
1 1/2 lb. Flank steak
6 strips of bacon
salt and pepper to taste
2 1/2 tablespoons flour
1 1/2 tablespoons bacon drippings
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup sour cream
1. Cut flank stakes into 3 inch strips across. Pound the meat out using a mallet.
2. Place slice of bacon, and pickle on each piece. Roll and secure with toothpicks. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and flour.
3. Brown in hot bacon drippings and place in a bacon dish add water and cover and bake for 1 1/2 hours at 350 F. Place on a platter.
4. Add flour to the baking dish bring to boil. Add sour cream pour over the meat.
